Welcome! I am delighted that you are interested in breathing some much needed spiritual vitality and renewal into your summer.

Just as Jonah encountered God in the belly of the whale, we too long to encounter God in the midst of this communal belly of the whale moment. "Praying with Jonah" is an invitation to do just that - to dive deep into 4 practices (based on the 4 chapters of the book of Jonah) that nurture spiritual vitality as we encounter God even in the belly of the whale.

This eRetreat includes 6 live sessions over the course of 3 weeks. Every Tues/Thurs at 1:00 EDT we will gather on the private "Praying with Jonah" Facebook group page to view a brief video, share in conversation, and explore creative prayer practices together. You can join us live or access the resources at your convenience any time after each session. All resources will remain available until the group FB page closes on August 31.

Introduction - Got Jonah?
Chapter 1 - Claim your call
Chapter 2 - Pray with a voice of thanksgiving
Chapter 3 - Get up and go
Chapter 4 - Love abundantly
Conclusion - Finding your belly of the whale

During each session we will...
* View a short pre-recorded video reflection together (about 15-20 minutes)
* Share in live question/answers and discussion (about 20-30 minutes)
* Explore a creative prayer practice (new mandalas and other spiritual exercises)
* Receive soul-provoking journal prompts for personal reflection

Cost: pay-what-you-can
During these challenging financial times, I don't want financial limitations to prohibit anyone from participating in this meaningful soul-care experience. Therefore I have decided to make this a "pay what you can" opportunity. Whatever you are able to share will be a much appreciated gift in support of Belly of the Whale Ministries - whether it is $1 or $100 or more or less, I am truly grateful. As a small step toward living out our call to care for one another, I will be donating 10% of all contributions to a local women's prison ministry that I have been participating in for several years.
